Directions to Wakefield HC (Water based Pitch)

From the West and South exit M1 at Junction 41, taking A650 towards Wakefield. Turn right at 3rd roundabout (A61) and almost immediately left at traffic lights, through pelican lights and left at next lights into Westfield Rd. Left at T junction and follow road as it swings to the right Wakefield Hockey Club is on the right.
From the North exit M62 at Junction 30 and follow A642 to Wakefield for 3 miles passing Pinderfields Hospital and then Stanley Royd Hospital. Right at next Traffic lights into Eastmoor Rd. Club is on left in 300 m.

Directions to Bradford Girls Grammar School Pitch

Leave the M62 at Junction 26 and take the M606 towards Bradford. At the end of the M606 take the 3rd exit off the roundabout just after the petrol station. Follow this road past a Morrison’s Supermarket continue straight on across the roundabout after about a mile and a half you will come to a set of traffic lights. Go straight on at these lights. Stay on this road to the next set of lights where again you go straight on.
Continue down a short hill till you come to a small mini roundabout go straight over this to the next lights. Go straight forward again and follow the road down hill passing a MFI store on your right. Go straight on at the next lights climbing up hill to a further set of lights. Go across these and get into the right hand lane. You will come to a junction with two roads coming from the right take the second of these right turns into Squire Lane. The pitch is on the left as you climb the hill.

Directions to Thornton Recreation Centre (Thornton School)

Leave the M62 at Junction 26 and take the M606 towards Bradford. At the end of the M606 take the 3rd exit off the roundabout just after the petrol station. Follow this road past a Morrison’s Supermarket continue straight on across the roundabout after about a mile and a half you will come to a set of traffic lights. Go straight on at these lights. Stay on this road to the next set of lights where again you go straight on.
Continue down a short hill till you come to a small mini roundabout go straight over this to the next lights. Go straight forward again and follow the road down hill passing a MFI store on your right. Go straight on at the next lights climbing up hill to a further set of lights. At these Lights turn left into Thornton Road. Follow this road for a little over two miles. You will pass a speed camara on your left shortly after this you will see Thornton Recreation Centre (Thornton School) on your left. Turn into Leaventhorpe Lane immediatly before the school. The pitch is approx 150 yrds on the right.
